Chinese Language Elective Programme
Jurong Junior College (JJ) is a Ministry of Education (MOE) Language Elective Programme (LEP) Centre for Chinese.
Students who are enrolled in the Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP) must take Chinese Language and Literature at H2 level and at least one other Chinese-related subject. This can be either H2 China Studies in Chinese, H2 Translation or H1 General Studies in Chinese.
The JJ CLEP seeks to develop bicultural talents who have a good understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures. Some of the distinctive elements of the JJ CLEP are:
Scholar Development Programmes and JJC CLEP Scholarship
The twin efforts of the Mother Tongue Languages Department and the Scholar Development Programme seek to develop the potential of outstanding CLEP students. Students may apply for MOE CLEP Scholarships as well as JJC CLEP Scholarships.
Overseas Experiential Learning Programme
