  • Environment Conservation Club’s Learning Journey to Pacific Light Power Plant on Jurong Island

    Our students had the opportunity to take a tour around the power plant, including the state-of-the-art Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. It is one of the most efficient power plants currently operating in Singapore and the first to be completely fuelled by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

    This experience also taught me a lot about problem solving. I have learnt that though a country may be developing, it can have an important presence in the council too.
