Our students had the opportunity to take a tour around the power plant, including the state-of-the-art Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. It is one of the most efficient power plants currently operating in Singapore and the first to be completely fuelled by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

This experience also taught me a lot about problem solving. I have learnt that though a country may be developing, it can have an important presence in the council too. Problems need to be understood before things can be done to solve them hence these countries have to speak up and explain their situation to others in the council. -Audrey Yeo Ling Yi (18S01)-
