    Mother Tongue Fortnight

    This year, JJC’s Mother Tongue Fortnight was held from 31 March to 11 April. A series of cultural activities including Chinese Paper Cutting and Chinese Painting was lined up for the students. The Chinese Cultural Society also put up four skits, directed and written by the students themselves.

This forum was jointly organised by Business China and Jurong Junior College, and was attended by more than 600 students from various Junior Colleges, Integrated Programme Schools, Polytechnics and other Institutes of Higher Learning.

    Chinese New Year

    JJ celebrated Chinese New Year on 30 January. Besides the performances put up by the college’s various performing arts groups, this year’s concert also included a special ‘face-changing’ performance, a zhong shan qing performance by an accomplished musician, as well as an energetic ‘ZingO’ Drums performance. Guests from the Lions Befrienders Service Association were invited to join us on this special occasion.
